Our Mission.
In the Philippines alone, there are 5,000 children born with cleft lip and cleft palate every year. In the world, a baby is born with a cleft every 3 minutes. Children born with this definitely have a hard fate – not only are they prone to respiratory problems, speech problems, malnutrition and other health related issues, but they are also prone to a life full of ridicule and isolation. Cleft palate surgeries will allow them to smile and change their lives forever.
We proudly support established non-profit organizations that give free cleft lip and cleft palate surgeries to children. They give exceptional surgical care and a renewed hope to children.

Our founder, Chiara, believes that there is immense power within a smile. It is a reflection of happiness, hope, positivity and can be quite infectious! Graduated from the University of Southern California, School of Dentistry, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Hygiene and worked in Los Angeles for almost a decade, Chiara has been helping her patients achieve their best smile. Beyond her patients in the dental clinic, she’s been improving smiles in dental missions in Fiji and in the Philippines. With the passion for dentistry and giving back, she has created MySmile, a Premium teeth whitening home kit that not only improve one’s smile, it will improve the smile of countless children with cleft lip and palate. For every MySmile sold, a portion will be donated to organizations that give free palate surgeries to children.
Janina Manipol
Our co-founder, Janina, is a film director and content creator who has spent her entire career in media and communications. Graduated from De La Salle University with honors, she now runs a video production company called Maldavar Films and is passionate about telling compelling stories that will connect with people. Today, Janina’s purpose lies in helping spread positivity and good vibes because she believes that smiles make life more beautiful. She takes pride in giving back to her family and community and would like children to have more self-esteem as well, as she partnered with Chiara with a mission of seeing more smiles that will fill countless hearts with joy and change their lives forever.
